Training and Skills
UNIEP has been dedicated to promoting lifelong learning and certified training schemes for the painting trade since its inception in 1953. Painting Contractors are encouraged to invest in apprenticeships and training schemes to uplift the skill levels of their employees at a managerial, administration and especially a technical level.
Euro Painting Skills Competition
The Euro Painting Skills Competitions are organised to bring the best talent from across Europe to compete on an intensive range of skill sets for painters. Skills include painting doors and doorframes, wallpapering, letters and stencilling, free expression of design and painting and dimensional accuracy.
Painting experts with national qualifications and many years’ experience judge the entrants and award points. There are gold, silver and bronze medals awarded to the different categories of winners.
All entrants receive a certificate and an element of social networking and mixing with different cultures provides a rich tapestry of experience for young painters.
